Lolita :: 2008-09-07
With every new novel I read, I'm going to at least sketch one character. Nabokov's Lolita is a masterpiece, one of the most entertaining and worthwhile satires I've ever witnessed. This, is how I envision Lolita; though I feel it looked better without the inking.
I became rather annoyed when googling "Lolita" and getting a plethora of goth-japanese-victorian strumpets. It's a misuse of the label! (though the goth japanese girls are cute in their own right).
